I am *this close* to having my dream wedding. We checked out our final venue yesterday with my parents, and everyone agrees that the first venue is the best option. So now here’s hoping there is still a Saturday available next April or May. I’m taking Madre there on Friday, and hopefully a contract will be signed!
This wedding stuff is amazing. I never thought I’d be so excited...

I had so much fun with my mom yesterday. We checked out a wedding venue in the morning, had lunch and then looked through bridal magazines together. I’m happy to report that we agree on what kind of dress would look best on me.
Finding a venue is stressful. Dates fill up fast around here. And this is either good news or depressing news, but the venue I thought was most expensive (my dream...
Wtf. I have gained 20 pounds. I want/need to loose 25. GOD DAMNIT.
Today is not a good day.

I probably should have saved my dream venue for last visit rather than first. It’s exactly what I was hoping and everything I want in one place, just of course the most expensive. *Sigh*

Less than 3 minutes…
2 sleeps down, 2 more to go. After all our wonderful time together in Cali and the excitement of being engaged, it’s extra hard to be away from C right now.
Words I hate hearing on a work shoot:
Call time is 6:30 in the morning.
Home at midnight.
Asleep at 1 AM.
Awake at 4 AM.
At BWI at 6 AM.
Now off to Spokane.
So can’t wait to be grounded for a few weeks.
Picked up an important lesson this week.
Loyalty vs. commitment.
I’d say I’m a very loyal person. Loyal to a fault almost. To any boss I work for, any organization, to my friends and family. But this week, I’ve learned there’s a big difference between loyalty and commitment.
Loyalty does not always serve your best interest. Be loyal only to yourself, family and deserving friends, in that order. But only be...

WHEN I HAVE TO FLY OUT OF DULLES INSTEAD OF REAGAN

BWI is worse. And man, this Tumblr = amazing/.
Emailing wedding venues like a boss.
We had a wonderful Easter with family, complete with a champagne toast to us:) I’m starting to feel like I have an idea of what wedding planning entails now. It’s still stressful, and the budget numbers in the DC metro area are beyond absurd for one day, but I’m getting more and more excited each day.
Lunch today to formally ask my closest ladies to be my bridesmaids. They already know, but I can’t wait to see them in person!
And then a Skype date tomorrow to ask my precious friend living in Doha.
I am totally in planning mode. Well, just guest list and scoping out some venues to check out. I wanted to go to one of the big plantation style mansions in VA, but I hear they have extra...
Goal: 15 pounds
I think I might get a few personal training sessions. I need someone at the gym to push me until I figure out how to push myself.
Wow.
So now that we’re back from our amazing 9 day love fest and interacting with friends and family again, the reality of a wedding is sinking in. I have such an exciting year ahead!!!
Our trip was simply magical. We didn’t really plan anything out ahead of time, which is rare for me. But I loved the freedom and exploring we got to do. I’ll write up everything we did and share it as...
