I’m experiencing excruciating pain in my right foot. Should probably rest it today. But nope, I’m going to the zoo with my guy. It’s sunny and 63 degrees!
Totally stoked to:
1. see my dude later for the first time in two weeks 2. shop for new snowboard boots 3. show off my apartment to the family tomorrow and eat steak at The Capital Grille 4. start Christmas shopping 5. bake some Christmas cookies
I completed my first race today. Did a 10k in 1 hour 19 minutes and 56 seconds. Not great but I’m proud of myself. I just started running 3 weeks ago and I wasn’t last.

First day on the new job! And it feels wierd having a real office and not a well located cube everyone walks by. I’ll miss all the good mornings and chats.

1. Starting my new job on Monday 2. Having a real office with a door 3. Coming up with good article ideas for my class blog 4. Focusing on my website 5. Christmas presents 6. Seeing my dude 7. Getting our February Killington trip all booked 8. Potluck with my ladies this weekend 9. Having the 10k on Thanksgiving be over 10. My first paycheck with my new salary

Spent yesterday sitting out side in 70 degree sunny weather watching the Redskins actually win a game. Had my guy next to me, too much beer, and tons of fun.

I just watched a video of a flesh removal tattoo. I used to watch surgeries all the time on Discovery Health without getting squeamish. But this, well, watching someone cut flesh off another person to make scarred design is simply disgusting.
So I decided to actually take a look at one of the Chinese food menus that shows up under my door. This is what I found in the “American Food” section:

I was running late this morning and didn’t have time to brew my mate. So I had to pop into Caribou and get some coffee. When leaving I noticed a sticker on the door that said “Thanks a latte,” and started cracking up. Either I’m too happy or am just a major nerd.
